Recap: Trinidad Trojans vs. Bynum Bulldogs
This season hasn't been kind to the Trinidad Trojans, who are still winless after their sixth contest. They were outmatched by Bynum on the road and fell 53-19. Trinidad was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Bynum apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in February of 2022.
Leading Bynum to victory were Brooklyn Compean and Madi Westmoreland. Compean scored 23 points along with four steals, while Westmoreland scored 20 points along with six steals and two blocks. That's the first time this season that Westmoreland scored 15 or more points. The team also got some help courtesy of Lucero Perales, who scored seven points along with eight rebounds and two blocks.
Trinidad's defeat was their third straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 0-6. As for Bynum, their win bumped their record up to 5-9.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Trinidad will take on Avalon at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Bynum, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Milford at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Milford will be looking to extend their current six-game winning streak.
