Basketball Game Preview: Collierville Dragons vs. Cordova Wolves

The Collierville Dragons will head out to square off against the Cordova Wolves at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Collierville is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak.

Collierville saw some tournament action on Friday. They fell 58-48 to Marion. While losing is never fun, the Dragons can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 115th in Tennessee, while the Patriots are ranked 33rd in Arkansas).

Meanwhile, Cordova didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Kirby on Wednesday, but they still walked away with a 65-60 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Wolves.

Collierville's loss dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Cordova, they now also have a winning record of 4-3.

Collierville suffered a grim 79-59 defeat to Cordova in their previous meeting back in February. Can Collierville avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
