Basketball Recap: Manchester Continues Home Dominance on Saturday

While Manchester didn't have the best season last year (they finished 10-13), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. The stars were shining brightly for them in a 67-48 victory over the Chippewa Chipps on Saturday. For the Panthers, this counts as revenge for the 69-64 win the Chipps walked away with the last time they faced one another back in December of 2022.

Manchester's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-2. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.0 points per game. As for Chippewa, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Manchester Panthers duke it out with the Canton South Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
