Dardanelle's game on Monday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Ozark Hillbillies 5-4. The Sand Lizards have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Hillbillies, too.

Dardanelle has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 6-7 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 6.5 runs over those games. As for Ozark, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-3.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Dardanelle will take on rival Mena at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The Sand Lizards are on a three-game streak of home wins, the Bearcats a three-game streak of away wins, meaning someone's leaving a streak behind. Meanwhile, Ozark is set to challenge their familiar foe Pottsville at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
