Volleyball Recap: Hingham Gets the Win

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Barnstable, Hingham was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Scituate Sailors with a sharp 3-0 victory. The win continues a trend for the Harbormen in their matchups with the Sailors: they've now won six in a row.

Hingham's got stronger as the match went on, holding Scituate to fewer and fewer points set over set. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-20, 25-17.

Hingham's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-5. As for Scituate, their defeat was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-8.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hingham will welcome New Bedford at 5:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Scituate, they will face off against Quincy at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
