Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Owensboro). They took their game on Friday with ease, bagging a 49-14 victory over the Graves County Eagles. The Red Devils have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Eagles, too.

DaMarcus Ganaway Jr continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, throwing for 273 yards and three TDs while completing 87.5% of his passes, and also rushing for 36 yards and one score. Another receiver making a difference was Kingston Dillard, who picked up 119 receiving yards and a pair of touchdowns.

Special teams also deserves some recognition, posting 13 points in total. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Tre Shemwell, who ran a punt back for a touchdown.

Owensboro's defense stepped up as well, laying out the QB four times. That dominant display was truly a team effort as four different players picked up one apiece.

Owensboro now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Graves County, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-4.
