Preview: Central Virginia Disciples vs. Life Christian Academy
The Life Christian Academy Eagles will stay at home another game and welcome the Central Virginia Disciples Patriots on Thursday. Life isn't favored, but they just beat the odds in their last contest, so don't count them out.
While not quite a landslide, the game between the Eagles and TPLS Christian Academy last Tuesday was still a pretty decisive one as Life wrapped it up with a 72-57 win at home. Among those leading the charge for Life was junior Taylor Kindred, who had 21 points.
Meanwhile, the matchup between Central Virginia Disciples and St. Anne's-Belfield on Tuesday was not particularly close, with Central Virginia Disciples falling 57-41. A silver lining for the Patriots was the play of senior Claiborne Poston, who had 15 points.
Life's victory brought them up to 11-4 while Central Virginia Disciples' defeat pulled them down to 15-8. The Eagles are 6-4 after wins this year, and Central Virginia Disciples is 4-3 after losses.
