South Sevier extended their postseason success on Friday against Gunnison Valley. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 win over the Bulldogs. The Rams have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Bulldogs, too.

South Sevier secured the victory behind a pair of hitters. One of them was Halle Mckinlay, who went 1-for-3 with one run and one double. Wishlee Bringhurst was another, earning three stolen bases.

South Sevier has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-15 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.5 runs on average over those games. As for Gunnison Valley, their loss dropped their record down to 18-12.

South Sevier didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 12-9 defeat against Enterprise on the 8th. Gunnison Valley does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
