Volleyball Recap: Scotland's Losing Streak Snapped at Eight Games

Scotland's game on Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Saturday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past Andes Central/Dakota Christian 2-1. The win was some much needed relief for the Highlanders as it spelled an end to their eight-match losing streak.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Scotland got the one that really mattered. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 23-25, 25-16.

Scotland's victory bumped their record up to 4-14. As for Andes Central/Dakota Christian, their loss was their fifth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 2-21.

Scotland didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Tripp-Delmont/Armour on the 18th. As for Andes Central/Dakota Christian, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Boyd County on the 18th.
