Football Game Preview: Andress Eagles vs. Melissa Cardinals + How To Watch

Andress is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They enjoyed a cozy 28-14 win over Memorial.

Andress can attribute much of their success to Julian Hernandez, who gained 167 total yards and two touchdowns, and Jamari Milton, who threw for 192 yards and two TDs. With that strong performance, Hernandez is now averaging an impressive 104.8 rushing yards per game.

Andress was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 234 rushing yards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Memorial only rushed for 95.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Melissa challenged Colleyville Heritage on Friday. The Cardinals breezed past the Panthers to the tune of 41-10. Given the Cardinals' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas football rankings (they are ranked 25th, while the Panthers are ranked 209th) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Andress' record now sits at 9-2. As for Melissa, their record is now 8-2.
