Soccer Recap: Lee Takes a Loss

Lee lost to Port Neches-Groves back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Ganders lost 7-1 to the Indians. While losing is never fun, Lee can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 592nd, while Port Neches-Groves are ranked 277th).

This is the second loss in a row for Lee and nudges their season record down to 6-10-1. As for Port Neches-Groves, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 13-4-2.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Lee will face off against rival Port Arthur Memorial at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Port Neches-Groves is set to square off against their familiar foe Nederland at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
