They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the La Porte Slicers 15-13. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Eagles have posted since May 11, 2024.

South Bend Adams got a massive performance out of MAX PALMER, who got on base in all four of his plate appearances with three runs and one RBI. Those three runs gave PALMER a new career-high. KANIEN SMITH was another key player, going a perfect 4-for-4 with two runs and two RBI.

South Bend Adams kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 18 hits. That's a new trend for them: they were averaging 5.1 hits per game earlier this season, but in their last 15 matches they've averaged 9.

As for La Porte, their loss dropped their record down to 9-12. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat they have suffered since April 5th.
