 South scored the most  runs they've had all season to find success  on Wednesday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Del Oro Suns  a   30-0 shutout. South might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team's won five matches by six  runs or more this season.
  Giovanni Jimenez made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound,   tossing  an inning while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits (he also didn't allow any  walks). Jimenez was also stellar in the batter's box,  scoring four  runs while  getting on base  in all five of his plate appearances.
 In other batting news,  Jose Bojorquez was  incredible,  going 4-for-5 with six  RBI, four  runs,  and two  triples. He is on a roll when it comes to  stolen bases, as he's  now  stolen  at least one in the last four games he's  played. Another player making a difference was  Tomas Encinas, who  went 4-for-5 with three  runs, three  RBI,  and a  triple.
 South is  on a roll lately: they've  won five of their last six contests,  which provided a massive bump to their 9-7 record  this season. As for Del Oro, their loss was  their eighth straight at home, which  dropped their record down to 0-14.
 South will take on North at 4:00  p.m.  on Friday. North is strutting in with some hitting muscle, as they've averaged 8.1  runs per game this season. As for Del Oro, they will head out on the road to  take on  Golden Valley at 3:00  p.m.  on Friday. Del Oro is facing Golden Valley at the right time seeing as Golden Valley is stuck on  a  five-game losing streak.
