Volleyball Recap: Wando Extends Winning Streak to Four

Wando came tearing into Wednesday's contest with three straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Cane Bay Cobras by a score of 2-0. The Warriors have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Cobras, too.

Wando easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-12.

Their offense was headlined by Akhil Jamariya and Callan Potter, who picked up five kills apiece. They got some help from Henry Seibert and his 15 assists. Kai Park controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

Wando's victory bumped their record up to 11-2-1. As for Cane Bay, their defeat was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 5-2.

Coincidentally, Wando and Cane Bay will both be playing Lucy Beckham the next time they take the court. The Warriors will host the Bengals at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, while the Cobras will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
