Basketball Recap: Franklin Comes Up Short

Franklin was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were dealt a 71-40 loss at the hands of the Health Sciences Charter Falcons. The match marked the Bulldogs' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

It was another big night for Zavion Hawkins, who went 6-for-9 en route to 19 points and five rebounds for Health Sciences Charter. Another player making a difference was Staz Chiddick, who dropped a double-double with ten points and ten boards.

Franklin's defeat dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Health Sciences Charter, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-5.

Franklin has already played their next contest, a 64-54 loss against Webster Schroeder on the 8th. As for Health Sciences Charter, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 58-48 defeat against Rush-Henrietta on the 8th.
