Volleyball Recap: Make It Four in a Row for Beachwood

Beachwood hadn't done well against Orange recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. The Bison came out on top against the Lions by a score of 3-1. That's more bragging rights for the Bison, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The victory didn't come easy: Orange scored at least 18 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-23, 25-27, 25-23.

Casie B paced Beachwood's offense, picking up nine kills. B really made an impact as she also led the team in assists with 16. Riley Dodds controlled things from the service line, finishing with eight aces.

The win keeps Beachwood at an undefeated 4-0. As for Orange, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Beachwood will take on Andrews Osborne Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Orange, they will challenge Wickliffe at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
