Soccer Recap: Pocahontas County Comes Up Short

Pocahontas County lost against Greenbrier East back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Warriors lost 9-1 to the Spartans. Things were pretty much settled by the half as Pocahontas County were already down 6-0.

Their goal came courtesy of Wade Garber, who's now up to three this season.

Pocahontas County's loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Greenbrier East, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Looking ahead, Pocahontas County will challenge Webster County at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Greenbrier East, they will host Bridgeport at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
