Basketball Recap: Rock Port Beats Dekalb for Their Ninth Straight Victory

Rock Port had won eight straight games and Jack Meyerkorth did his part to make it nine on Tuesday. The Rock Port Blue Jays really took it to the DeKalb Tigers for the full four quarters, racking up a 69-15 win thanks in part to Meyerkorth, who went 9 of 14 on his way to 23 points and five steals. The matchup was his 11th in a row with at least ten points.

Another player making a difference was Case Millsap, who posted seven points. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in boards (four).

Rock Port has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 13-3 record this season. As for DeKalb, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-15.

Rock Port wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 70-55 victory against King City on the 24th.
