Kaden Carter Has Career-Day on Friday

Starting off the list is Lamar County's Kaden Carter, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. On Friday Carter made two total tackles (1.0 for loss), good enough to also set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. His longest rush was for an incredible 81 yards.

The victory (which was Lamar County's third in a row) raised their record to 6-1. Carter and Lamar County will challenge Putnam County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

Rashod Daniel Turns in Season-Best Effort

Putnam County was led to victory by Rashod Daniel, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Daniel rushed for 170 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 7.1 yards per carry, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He has become a key player for Putnam County: the team is 2-1 when he posts at least 100 rushing yards, but 2-3 otherwise.

Daniel will have a chance to log another big game when he takes on Lamar County on Friday. The contest will pit Daniel up against the Trojans' star rusher Zyquavius Hughley. With so much talent on the field, fans are surely in for an exciting game. The only thing left to see is who brings home the W.

Hardge Made His Presence Known in Social Circle's 38-19 Win

Jameccus Hardge was instrumental in extending Social Circle's winning streak to three on Friday. Hardge was dynamite, rushing for 43 yards and two touchdowns.

Hardge is probably looking forward to his next game, a home matchup against Jasper County on Friday. When Hardge last faced the Hurricanes back in October of 2023, he rushed for 85 yards and a touchdown on only ten carries, and also threw for 37 yards and a touchdown.

Jude Nelson Makes It Two for Social Circle

Keeping Hardge company is Jude Nelson, a fellow Social Circle player. He picked up 63 receiving yards and a touchdown. He showed off some serious burst, connecting on a big catch for 63 yards.

On the year, Nelson has caught 6 touchdowns while averaging 55 receiving yards per game.
