Basketball Recap: Oskaloosa Takes a Loss

Oskaloosa was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 60-47 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Riverside [Wathena/Elwood] Cyclones. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bears this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 65-46 two weeks ago.

Oskaloosa's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Riverside [Wathena/Elwood], the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 4-1.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Horton the next time they take the court. Riverside [Wathena/Elwood] will host Horton on Tuesday, while Oskaloosa will head out to face them on January 10th.
