Soccer Recap: Eisenhower Comes Up Short

Eisenhower was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were one goals away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Barstow Aztecs.

Eisenhower's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Barstow, they moved to 7-5-1 with that victory, which also ended their five-game losing streak.

Eisenhower will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Bloomington at 4:00 p.m. on January 10, 2025. As for Barstow, they didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 4-1 win against Citrus Valley on the 28th.
