Basketball Game Preview: Sauk Rapids-Rice Storm vs. Champlin Park Rebels

The Sauk Rapids-Rice Storm and the Champlin Park Rebels will round out the year against one another at at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Both teams are still undefeated (Sauk Rapids-Rice has six wins , while Champlin Park has five).

Last Friday, Sauk Rapids-Rice didn't have too much trouble with Rogers as they won 89-73. Given the Storm's advantage in MaxPreps' Minnesota basketball rankings (they are ranked 22nd, while the Royals are ranked 131st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Champlin Park). They secured a 110-104 W over Blaine on Thursday.

Champlin Park's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-0. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 93.3 points per game. As for Sauk Rapids-Rice, their victory bumped their record up to 6-0.
