Basketball Game Preview: Quincy Jackrabbits vs. Prosser Mustangs

Quincy hasn't had much luck against Prosser recently, but that could start to change on Saturday. The Quincy Jackrabbits will venture away from home to challenge the Prosser Mustangs at 5:00 p.m. Prosser took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Quincy, who comes in off a win.

Quincy will bounce into Saturday's game after beating Toppenish, who they had gone 0-9 against in their nine prior meetings. Quincy came out on top in a nail-biter against Toppenish on Wednesday, sneaking past 69-67.

Prosser has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They took a hard 81-65 fall against Grandview on Friday. While the Mustangs didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Greyhounds 19-15 in the first quarter.

Prosser's loss ended a 13-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 9-4. As for Quincy, the win got them back to even at 6-6.

Quincy lost to Prosser on the road by a decisive 67-51 margin when the teams last played back in December of 2024. Can Quincy avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
