Basketball Recap: Marmion Takes a Loss

After flying high against Aurora Central Catholic last Friday, Marmion came back down to earth. The Marmion Cadets lost 62-36 to the Leo Lions on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Cadets have suffered since November 29, 2024.

Marmion's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 10-8. As for Leo, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 9-7 record this season.

Marmion will host St. Francis de Sales at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Leo, they will square off against Northridge at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.
