Softball Recap: Reese's Run of Three Straight Wins Now Over

After flying high against Vassar on Monday, Reese came back down to earth. The Rockets took a 9-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Yale Bulldogs on Saturday. The Rockets' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Ashtyn Frost made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with one home run. That home run was her first of the season.

Reese's loss dropped their record down to 18-12. As for Yale, the victory snapped their losing streak at five games and leaves them with a 7-9 record.

Coincidentally, Reese and Yale will both be playing Clio the next time they take the field. The Rockets will host the Mustangs at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, while the Bulldogs will play them later in the day, at 2:00 p.m.
