Softball Preview: Lisle Lions vs. Reed-Custer Comets
Lisle is 1-9 against Reed-Custer since May of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Lisle Lions will head out on the road to take on the Reed-Custer Comets at 4:30 p.m.
Lisle is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 16 runs on Friday, they were much more limited against Reed-Custer on Monday. They lost 18-2 to the Comets.
Lisle saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Megan Bradley, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2. Bradley has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive pitching appearances.
Lisle's loss dropped their record down to 6-13. As for Reed-Custer, their victory bumped their record up to 13-11.
