Austin had already won 12 in a row and they went ahead and made it 13 on Thursday. They came out on top against the Brewer Patriots by a score of 2-0. That's more bragging rights for the Black Bears, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Amari Woods paced Austin's offense, picking up seven kills. Woods got some help from Maggie Jae Marsh and her 19 assists.

Austin's victory bumped their record up to 31-4. As for Brewer, they moved to 19-10 with that defeat, which also ended their four-match winning streak.

Austin has already played their next match, a 2-0 win against West Morgan on the 25th. As for Brewer, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-1 victory against Priceville on the 25th.
