Basketball Game Preview: Napa Grizzlies vs. Justin-Siena Braves

Napa hasn't had much luck against Justin-Siena recently, but that could start to change on Friday. After both having extra time off, both will shake off the cobwebs and face off against one another at 7:00 p.m. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Two weeks ago, Napa needed a bit of extra time to put away Lowell. They managed a 53-49 win over the Cardinals. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Grizzlies.

Gael Bazounguissa and Cris Rendon were among the main playmakers for Napa as the former went 8 for 15 on his way to 22 points and the latter almost dropped a double-double on 11 points and nine boards. That makes it four consecutive games in which Bazounguissa has scored at least a third of Napa's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Henry Macpherson, who posted seven points.

Meanwhile, Justin-Siena came into Saturday's game having lost four straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They walked away with a 69-61 victory over La Salle last Saturday.

Justin-Siena's win bumped their record up to 2-7. As for Napa, their victory ended an eight-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 4-5.
