Soccer Recap: Thatcher Takes a Loss

Thatcher fell victim to Palo Verde and their airtight defense on Thursday. They fell just short of the Palo Verde Titans by a score of 1-0. The Eagles were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Titans apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January of 2024.

Thatcher dropped their record down to 7-7-1 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road. As for Palo Verde, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-4-3.

Thatcher didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next matchup, an 8-0 victory against Morenci on the 25th. Palo Verde has also already played their next game, a 3-2 loss against Catalina on the 29th.
