Football Recap: Sachse Takes a Loss

Sachse came into their game on Friday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They had to suffer through a 38-7 loss at the hands of the Wylie East Raiders. The matchup marked the Mustangs' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Christian McCaffrey threw for 139 yards and one touchdown. Chase Barstow was his top target, picking up 46 receiving yards. On the ground, Ladainian Jones rushed for 31 yards.

Sachse's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Wylie East, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.

Coming up, Sachse will host North Garland at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
