Cypress Creek saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Everett Burgess, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3. Burgess is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games he's played.

Meanwhile, Weeki Wachee fell victim to Citrus and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Hurricanes by a score of 1-0. Having soared to a lofty 11 runs in the game before, the Hornets' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Cypress Creek's loss dropped their record down to 11-9. As for Weeki Wachee, the defeat snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 13-10 record.

The batters for both teams will have to hit smart on Wednesday as both have some strikeout artists on the roster. Cypress Creek has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 7.8 strikeouts per game. However, it's not like Weeki Wachee struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 8.4 strikeouts.
