Basketball Recap: Kimora Pryor's Big Game Can't Quite Lead West Rusk over Union Grove

West Rusk lost against Union Grove back in November of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The West Rusk Raiders'2024 ended with a 45-28 loss against the Union Grove Lions. The Raiders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

West Rusk's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kimora Pryor, who posted two points along with nine boards and five steals. That's the most steals Pryor has posted since back in January of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Kamyah Lacy, who went 5 of 10 en route to 13 points and six rebounds.

West Rusk's loss dropped their record down to 5-9. As for Union Grove, they moved to 12-10 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

West Rusk didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 36-35 win against Troup on the 3rd. As for Union Grove, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 56-14 victory against Big Sandy on the 3rd.
