Volleyball Game Preview: Rise Kohyang Tritons vs. Animo South Los Angeles Panthers

The Rise Kohyang Tritons will face off against the Animo South Los Angeles Panthers at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Rise Kohyang is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt wants to keep things rolling.

Rise Kohyang made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Animo De La Hoya, but they still couldn't quite topple them. Everything went Rise Kohyang's way against Animo De La Hoya on Wednesday as Rise Kohyang made off with a 3-0 win.

Rise Kohyang never let Animo De La Hoya on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-23, 25-13.

Meanwhile, Animo South Los Angeles beat George Washington Prep 3-1 on Wednesday.

Animo South Los Angeles was especially dominant in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 23-25, 25-20, 25-18.

Animo South Los Angeles now has a winning record of 6-5. As for Rise Kohyang, they pushed their record up to 5-0 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season.
