Basketball Recap: North Ridgeville Comes Up Short

North Ridgeville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Avon Lake Shoremen, falling 52-28. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Rangers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 60-33 back in December of 2024.

North Ridgeville's defeat dropped their record down to 7-11. As for Avon Lake, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 14-3.

North Ridgeville will challenge Elyria at 11:15 a.m. on Saturday. North Ridgeville is facing Elyria at the right time seeing as Elyria is stuck on a three-game losing streak. Avon Lake has already played their next match (against Steele), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
