Recap: Kirbyville Wildcats vs. Evadale Rebels
The Kirbyville Wildcats's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their third straight loss. They were beaten by Evadale 84-51. Kirbyville was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 48-20.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Evadale to victory, but perhaps none more so than Devin Terrell, who scored 15 points along with 4 steals. Terrell continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Talon Bennett, who scored 14 points along with 5 rebounds and 3 steals.
Kirbyville now has a losing record at 4-5. As for Evadale, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season.
Kirbyville is on the road again on Thursday and play against Diboll at 4:30 p.m. on December 7th. As for Evadale, they will square off against West Orange-Stark at 8:00 a.m. on Thursday. West Orange-Stark has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 293 points over their last four games.
