After having lost a blowout in their previous game against East Greenwich, Classical was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the West Warwick Wizards 2-1. The victory continues a trend for Classical in their matchups with West Warwick: they've now won three in a row.

Niko Brown and Daniel Sucuqui scored both of Classical's goals, which were season-firsts for both players.

The win got Classical back to even at 2-2. As for West Warwick, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Looking ahead, Classical will be playing in front of their home fans against La Salle Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. La Salle Academy's defense has only allowed 0.5 goals per game this season, so Classical's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for West Warwick, they will venture away from home to face off against Mt. Hope at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
