Football Recap: Kennedy Takes a Loss

Thursday just wasn't the day for Kennedy's offense. They were dealt a 45-0 loss at the hands of the Thornton Trojans on Thursday. The Commanders were not able to make up for their defeat to the Trojans from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.

The critical scores for Thornton came from Zhane Moore, Olivia Mateo, Ada Xu, London Lor, Kaylenn Hernandez-Mosso, Dayanis Holguin, and Phoenix Manchego.

Kennedy's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Thornton, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.

Kennedy didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 38-0 defeat against Denver West on the 6th. As for Thornton, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 40-6 win against Skyview on the 6th.
