Basketball Game Preview: Reed City Coyotes vs. Morley Stanwood Mohawks

The Reed City Coyotes will take on the Morley Stanwood Mohawks in a holiday battle at at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Last Friday, Reed City came up short against Chippewa Hills and fell 48-36.

Meanwhile, Morley Stanwood didn't have quite enough to beat White Cloud on Friday and fell 44-42. The Mohawks haven't had much luck with the Indians recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.

Morley Stanwood's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Reed City, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 1-3.

Everything came up roses for Reed City against Morley Stanwood in their previous meeting back in January, as the team secured a 62-29 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Reed City since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
