Baseball Recap: Gresham Comes Up Short

Gresham lost to Nelson on Tuesday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Gophers lost 9-2 to Nelson. The Gophers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Gresham's defeat dropped their record down to 5-10. As for Nelson, they pushed their record up to 8-7 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Gresham is set to challenge their familiar foe Barlow at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Nelson will face off against rival Clackamas at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Nelson 3.5, Clackamas 3.6) so any runs scored will be well earned.
