Volleyball Recap: Fillmore Central Falcons vs. Lewiston-Altura Cardinals        
        
		
             Fillmore Central won the last time they faced Lewiston-Altura, and things went their way  on Tuesday too. The Fillmore Central Falcons put the hurt on the Lewiston-Altura Cardinals with a sharp  3-0 win. The  victory was a breath of fresh air for the Falcons as it put an end to their six-game losing streak.
 Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-16,  25-20.
 Fillmore Central's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was   Hannah Vaalemoen, who  had five  digs and three  aces. Those three  aces gave  Vaalemoen a new career-high.
 She wasn't the only good server: Fillmore Central  was lethal from the service line and  finished the game with 15  aces. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Lewiston-Altura only served three.
 Fillmore Central's record is now 9-11. As for Lewiston-Altura,  they are  on  a  three-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 13-7.
 Fillmore Central wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next  contest,  a  3-0  victory against Wabasha-Kellogg on the 3rd. After both having extra time off, Lewiston-Altura and Caledonia will dust off their jerseys to  take on  one another  at 7:15  p.m.  on Tuesday. Caledonia is coming into the  game with five straight  wins at home,  so Lewiston-Altura will have to stop a  squad with plenty of momentum.
