Merritt Island was the 62-49 winner over Eau Gallie when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Merritt Island Mustangs lost 59-37 to the Eau Gallie Commodores on Thursday. The game marked the Mustangs' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Merritt Island's loss dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Eau Gallie, with the win, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Merritt Island will venture away from home to square off against Heritage at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Eau Gallie, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Melbourne at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
