Soccer Recap: Stony Brook Starts Season with Defeat on the Road

Stony Brook kicked off their season on the road on Monday and hit a couple of potholes. They came up short against the Kellenberg Memorial Firebirds, falling 4-0.

Kellenberg Memorial's win bumped their record up to 5-1.

Stony Brook will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on St. John the Baptist at 11:00 a.m. on the 20th. As for Kellenberg Memorial, they will face off against St. Dominic at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
