Volleyball Recap: Placer Snaps Eight-Game Streak of Losses at Home

Placer proved they can win big last Tuesday (they won by three) and on Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. They won by a set and slipped past the Roseville Tigers 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Hillmen have posted since April 8, 2024.

Placer's victory ended an eight-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-0. As for Roseville, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-6.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Placer will take on Nevada Union at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Roseville, they will face off against River Valley at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
