Lake Catholic had won two straight games and Ava Starr did her part to make it three on Tuesday. The Cougars were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Tuslaw Mustangs for which the team can thank Starr, who had six digs and four aces. Starr is also crushing it when it comes to assists: she's posted at least 19 every time she's taken the court this season.

The final score came out to 25-11, 25-17, 25-10.

Lake Catholic's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Lola Loncar led the charge by getting 14 digs and five aces. The dominant performance also gave Loncar a new career-high in assists (six).

They weren't the only good servers: Lake Catholic was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 14 aces. That's the most aces they've managed all season.

Lake Catholic's record now sits at 14-10. As for Tuslaw, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-17.

Lake Catholic didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-1 victory against Norwayne on the 23rd. Tuslaw does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
