Baseball Game Preview: Edison Tigers vs. Clovis East Timberwolves

The Edison Tigers will head out to challenge the Clovis East Timberwolves at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Edison took a loss when they played away from home on Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They walked away with a 5-2 win over Hanford.

Meanwhile, Clovis East got the win against University City on Tuesday by a conclusive 11-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Timberwolves.

The victory got Clovis East back to even at 6-6. As for Edison, their win bumped their record up to 12-3.

Edison was able to grind out a solid victory over Clovis East in their previous matchup back in March of 2023, winning 4-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Tigers since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
