Preview: Bonanza Bengals vs. Eldorado Sundevils
Bonanza is 3-0 against the Sundevils since December of 2014, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Bonanza Bengals will head out on the road to square off against the Eldorado Sundevils at 6:30 p.m. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with four consecutive losses for Bonanza and five for the Sundevils.
On Wednesday, Bonanza came up short against the Desert Shields and fell 41-32.
Meanwhile, Eldorado had to suffer through a rough 51-7 loss at the hands of the Longhorns. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Eldorado in their matchups with the Longhorns: they've now lost eight in a row.
Bonanza has traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-10 record this season. As for Eldorado, their loss dropped their record down to 2-14.
Everything came up roses for Bonanza against the Sundevils when the teams last played back in January as the squad secured a 62-33 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Bonanza since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
