Baseball Recap: Franklin Comes Up Short

Friday just wasn't the day for Franklin's offense. They came up short against the Christ Presbyterian Academy Lions on Friday, falling 11-0. That's two games in a row now that the Admirals have lost by exactly 11 runs.

Franklin saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Tate Vallone, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

Franklin has also been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-13 record this season. As for Christ Presbyterian Academy, their win bumped their record up to 16-2-1.

Franklin wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 10-0 defeat against Independence on the 7th. As for Christ Presbyterian Academy, they have also already played their next contest, a 1-0 victory against Centennial on the 4th.
