Normal Community had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 win over the Minooka Indians on Tuesday. The victory was nothing new for the Ironmen as they're now sitting on eight straight.

Lauren Michaels went supernova, getting 20 digs and two assists. Those 20 digs gave her a new career-high.

Normal Community's win bumped their record up to 33-5. As for Minooka, they moved to 26-12 with that loss, which also ended their three-match winning streak.

Normal Community didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-1 victory against Belleville East on the 6th. Minooka does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
