Jackson extended their postseason success on Friday against Handley. They took down the Tigers 42-28. The win was nothing new for the Aggies as they're now sitting on five straight.

Ezavier Crowell was his usual excellent self, rushing for 350 yards and four TDs on only 14 carries. Those 350 rushing yards gave him a new career-high. Jackson also got help from De'Corius Jackson, who showed off his sure hands for 99 receiving yards.

Jackson didn't let much get past them through the air: they limited Handley to a completion percentage of just 50%. That dominant aerial defense primarily came from two players: AJ Hayes and Keegan Chapman, who each logged one passes deflected. Jackson has been improving in that area: they had allowed a completion percentage of 0.61 earlier this season, but they've only allowed one of 0.61 in their last three games.

When it comes to explaining why Handley lost, don't look at Cordan Patterson. Despite the final result, he threw for 159 yards and a pair of touchdowns, and also rushed for 30 yards and one score.

Jackson's record now sits at 10-2. As for Handley, they moved to 10-2 with that defeat, which also ended their ten-game winning streak.

Coming up, Jackson will challenge W.S. Neal at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Handley does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
