Fike and Beddingfield are an even 5-5 against one another since December of 2021, but not for long. The Fike Demons will take on the Beddingfield Bruins in a tournament on Friday. One thing working in Fike's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.
Fike will bounce into Friday's contest after beating South Johnston, who they had gone 0-6 against in their six prior meetings. Everything went Fike's way against South Johnston on Friday as Fike made off with a 78-52 win. The Demons have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five games by 21 points or more this season.

Fike's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was William Monk, who went 8 of 13 on his way to 19 points along with six boards and six steals. Monk's evening made it seven games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jayonta Blanchard, who went 7 of 10 en route to 18 points and three steals.
